It’s PRIDE Y’all!!

Hola everyone! How we doin?

My wife (who lives here now YAY!!!!!!!) and Zeus are asleep on the couch so I thought I’d do a quick blog. How is everyone?

There’s so much I could write about, but I’d like to start with our days at the beach. Here I am with Zeus. We go to the beach just about every day. Some days I walk Zeus. Most days, Laydin and I both do. I go as far as my back will allow me (I jacked up my back again) And then Laydin takes Zeus further while I turn around and walk back to my chair.

I love the beach. You know what I love most about it? The number of women in two piece suits. Not because I’m a pervert, but because they are so comfortable in their bodies. Yesterday, while I was relaxing my back, I saw two women in two piece suits. One was probably 80. She was in a bikini. Another was rather large and she was in shorts and a sports bra. It was phenomenal! To be that comfortable in your body makes me very happy.

And it wasn’t just yesterday. It’s seriously every day. And every day Mexico reminds me why I love it here! There are lots of things to do like our writer’s group (Which Zeus attends with us.) And there are restaurants that allow dogs that have great food and killer drinks! So far we’ve taken Zeus to the Drunken Duck and Banana Bar.

But the main reason I love where we live? The PEOPLE! They are kind, friendly, hardworking and hard playing but most of all they’re welcoming. They are even nice to gringos like us. No one makes us feel unwelcome. Is the language barrier an issue? I suppose. We are trying very hard to learn Spanish and we’ve found that if you at least try? The people are more than willing to work with you.

In other news, I had to go to the doctor today. It turns out my carpal tunnel syndrome is back with a vengeance. So yay! I have this awesome new accessory!

In writing news, I finished Turning the Tables. I will publish it as soon as the incredible Tina Michele finished the cover art. it’s about 64,000 words and it’s definitely not erotic. It’s a romance between an Ice Queen who owns a resort and a DJ who makes it her mission to melt said Ice Queen. I do hope you’ll give it a read. Stay tuned for release date.

So far, retirement suits us. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s wondering if it’s time!

Take care and stay in touch!

Would love to hear from you. What are your thoughts?
