That’s right folks, I’m 21 chapters into this book and I still have no title. I’m working on a proposal and blurb, but I’m really struggling and would love some help. I’ve mentioned this in a few blogs already, but I seriously need a title.

So… Cash Dunleavy is a DJ (Captain Beats) from Portland, OR. She’s playing at small venues to even smaller crowds. She’s frustrated and irritated. Her 9 to 5 job is okay, but mostly a drag.

Her best friend since elementary school – Candy – moved to Puerto Vallarta as soon as the idiot became elected for a second time. She begs Cash to come down and hang out.

Cash goes there on vacation and gets to play at a queer club and has a blast. Back in Portland, she hates the weather, her job, and her lack of DJing to good crowds.

OK So yeah – Cash moves to Puerto Vallarta.

Cash is MC #1.

MC#2 is Jessica Byrne. Jessica is a cold hearted bitch who owns a resort in the jungle just outside of Puerto Vallarta. OK. So maybe she’s not a cold hearted bitch, but she certainly comes across that way. She’s an ice queen through and through. She and her partner had started the business several years before and one day, her partner announced she was leaving. There was no warning. No nothing.

She leaves Jessica with a majorly broken heart, a failing resort to ruin with very little help, and serious trust issues.

Tammy has been the manager since the beginning and Jessica relies on her heavily. Tammy tries to convince Jessica that not all women are out to hurt her. Jessica dismisses her as a straight woman who doesn’t have any idea what she’s talking about.

Cash flirted with Jessica the first time she saw her and was shot down in about big way. Candy warns Cash to leave Jessica alone. That there was no way Jessica would fall for Cash’s charms.

Cash doesn’t give up until Jessica point blank tells her she’s off limits. They continue to run into each other and Cash is very careful to respect Jessica’s wishes.

OK. Want to know what happens? Take a wild guess! LOL
