Well… It’s been a fun and exciting 15 months living at Amaria, but all good things must come to an end. Last week, Laydin and I made the difficult decision to move on and leave Amaria in our rear view mirror. It was not an easy decision and there’s so much I’ll truly miss, but it was time.

Laydin will be moving here in 4 weeks now (YAY). And I’m not getting any younger. So I’m now officially retired and living in a sweet house with our adorable pup Zeus.He loves it here. As do I! So does Laydin even though she’s only spent one night here so far! Here is a pic of the house. Here’s our living room And here’s my view as I type this (And write – which I’m doing again)

So I’m in a good space. I’m writing (finished chapter 18 yesterday) and hanging with Zeus. Missin Laydin like crazy. I realized I’ve never lived alone before – I’ve always had a spouse, partner, or kid living with me. Zeus isn’t the most brilliant conversationalist, but he’s a good pal. I talk to Caleb for about an hour each day which I think helps both our mental states.
