Just a few updates

First of all, I want to take a moment to wish my incredible wife a happy birthday! She is my love, my rock, and my shelter regardless of the storm. I can’t imagine navigating this adventure called life with anyone else.

A couple other major things about today: It’s Mardi Gras! Wooooot! Celebrate accordingly! It’s also Lunar New Year so Gung Hei Fat Choy! And last, but certainly not least – One month til St. Patrick’s Day!

Lots goin on in my world. Amaria is doing wonderfully. We have been super busy and consistently so. We had live music here with The Pleasant Uprising last month and they will be back the 28th. They’re a lot of fun. Here’s their ad for this month. Salta means jump. And if you look closely at the pic you can see someone jumping from our platform. If you jump from there, you get a free shot. And here we have Victor delivering a shot to someone who just jumped.

In case you haven’t noticed, I absolutely love living in Puerto Vallarta. The people here are real. They’re friendly, welcoming, and always up to helping you out. The weather here agrees with me, as well. Sunshine and blue skies dominate. We did get a little rain last week, which is unusual for this time of year, but it keeps the jungle green, so it’s not a bad thing. This place is just what the doctor ordered for my mental health!

I mentioned business is good – We have a group of ten who come up every Sunday, a group of about twenty who come up every Monday. And Tuesday and Wednesday, we have cruise ships. That’s right – we’re an excursion for two different cruise lines. So, we are keeping busy and it’s a very good thing!

I have more good news ~ I’m writing again! I took almost a year off, but I’m back at it. This book, as yet untitled, involves an owner of a resort in the mountains in Vallarta. Yes – That part I can write. Although she’s an ice queen, which I can’t relate to, but I’m trying! LOL The other main character is a DJ. Our son, Caleb has been instrumental(No pun intended) in this part. He’s been a huge help and on days when he struggles with not knowing if he wants to live or not, I believe this project gives him a reason to keep going! Win-win!

That’s all the updates from here. I’d love to hear from all of you – email me at mjwilliamz@aol.com or feel free to leave a comment!

Remember to live each day to its fullest!
