Has It Really Been a Year Already

Can you believe I’ve lived in Puerto Vallarta for a year? In some ways, time is flying. In others (Laydin not being here), it’s dragging….

So what’s new in my world? I thought you’d never ask:

My latest book, Chasing Her Scent was released in November. It’s basically a treasure hunt through Canada. It’s labeled as a romance but it has plenty of spice. You can buy it at Bold Strokes Books: https://www.boldstrokesbooks.com/books/chasing-her-scent-by-mj-williamz-4798-b or at Amazon. It’s been getting really good reviews so you should pick it up if you haven’t.

Here in Puerto Vallarta, life has been really good. Business is really picking up, which is nice. We have a group of walkers who come up every Monday – they usually have about 15 people with them. On Tuesdays, we have cruise ships. Two major cruise lines have us as an excursion. This has been GREAT for business! We try to have live music a couple times a month. We had a norteño band earlier this month and finish the month with Funk and Reggae with The Pleasant Uprising. So we’re having fun and keeping busy.

Laydin was here for over two weeks in December and then was back for a week this month. Life is so much better with her here. The staff loves her as do ALL the guests (What’s not to love?) Zeus…. Remember Zeus the puppy? Well, he’s a big boy now. And he LOVES his mama! I don’t even exist while she’s here. LOL Nah, but he is constantly by her side when she’s here. It’s hard to believe we only have four more months of this long distance thing! But it’s about time. I can’t wait.

Sometimes, a neighbor stops by And sometimes we have traffic jams. But such is life in the jungle.

If you’ve ever considered a trip to Puerto Vallarta, I highly recommend it. The people are the most welcoming, kind, helpful people anywhere! I’m so grateful to have landed here a year ago. And – if you come to Vallarta – let me know. I know a great place to stay. Here’s just one of the beautiful sights to see.

That’s all the news from here. Comments? Feel free to leave one or you can email me at mjwilliamz@aol.com
