It’s June! Which is the rainbowiest time of the year! Do you celebrate Pride? How?

I used to attend Pride religiously, but in Houston it’s awfully hot in June, so it’s easier to post rainbows and shout from the highest social media, “I’m here and I’m queer!”

It wasn’t that long ago that we used to attend Pride celebrations all over Texas to sell our books. I miss those days. It was always fun meeting up with other authors to hang for a few hours. And, meeting the Pride goers and new and old readers was always a treat.

I like to think I live my life in a way that celebrates my pride every day of the year. I still have more coming out to do, which is never easy, but often necessary. And I want to be completely out and hope to be soon.
